The Orchestre Pasdeloup no longer needs any introduction as it has been a fixture on the Parisian musical landscape since it was founded in 1861. It has cemented the reputation of dozens of works which it was the first to perform, while also playing greats from the classical repertoire. This concert programme accurately reflects this by combining works by Mozart (including the legendary Piano Concerto No. 21) and the cello concerto by Saint Saëns, many of whose works were given their first performance by the orchestra.
