Les Vents français are the gold standard for quality. The French national woodwind school has made an enduring mark on the international scene as the very finest of its kind. Emmanuel Pahud, François Leleux, Paul Meyer, Gilbert Audin and Radovan Vlatkovic are pursuing wonderful solo careers worldwide. For over 10 years, these five magical performers have been members of a unique ensemble exploring repertoire with a light, charming and beautiful feel. The programme, which is a hymn to the colour of life, gives prominence to delightful works such as Ibert’s smart 1930s pieces, Hindemith’s lively score and a discreetly sensitive tribute to Ravel, a master of French music.
