For "French Touch", Carla Bruni make the choice of an album of covers with the complicity of David Foster, the producer at the sixteen Grammy Awards.
Carla Bruni perform a detour in English, like a trip, and (re) interprets big names of the Anglo-Saxon scene, such as Abba, Depeche Mode, The Clash, Rita Hayworth, Willie Nelson or the Rolling Stones.
On stage, It is a question of borrowing another language, foreign and yet familiar, to return to oneself ... and to French with some of the titles which made it known.
Accompanied by her accomplices Taofik Farah (guitar), Cyril Barbessol (keyboards), and augmented by two newcomers in the adventure Johanne Mathaly (cello) and Xavier Sanchez (percussions),
Carla Bruni returns with a world tour in more than 20 countries, including France, where she will be back in Paris at the “Théâtre des Champs Elysées”, after her sold out concert of the “Trianon”.
