Terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply to tickets purchased from the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées online, by phone, at the box office or by post.

BOOKING T&CS AND FEES

Tickets will not be refunded or exchanged – All purchases are definitive.

Online through the theatrechampselysees.fr website 

  • A €8 service charge is added to the total cost of each subscription.
  • A €2 booking fee is added to the price of each ticket; a flat €10 charge is added to any booking of more than five tickets. (No booking fees are charged for Sunday Morning Concerts or Youth programmes.)

Print-at-home tickets (e-tickets) can be printed out by the purchaser using a home printer. If you have not received a confirmation for online bookings within 72 hours, please contact the Public Relations Department: phone +33 (0)1 49 52 50 50 or send an email to rp@theatrechampselysees.fr. Under Article L 121-17 and L 121-21-8 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for distance purchases of live entertainment tickets.

Any order not paid for within 72 hours will be automatically cancelled.

At the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées box office

Monday to Friday 12noon-7pm (except public holidays) and Sunday, two hours before the beginning of each performance.
In the hour before a performance, ticket sales for that performance TAKE PRIORITY.
5th category seats – REDUCED VISIBILITY – are on sale throughout the season from the box office only. 6th category seats – NO VISIBILITY – are on sale one hour before the performance from the box office only.

TICKETS SENT BY POST OR COLLECTED IN PERSON AT THE THEATRE

Bookings made more than eight days before the date of the performance

Tickets are SYSTEMATICALLY SENT to the address provided at the time of booking. For bookings made from outside France, the tickets can be either SENT BY POST or COLLECTED IN PERSON on the day of the chosen performance from the Control desk (2nd foyer) of the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées 30 minutes before the performance. 

Tickets are sent by ordinary (i.e. unregistered) post. Any change of postal address should be notified to the Public Relations Department.

The Théâtre des Champs-Elysées shall not be held liable for any loss, theft or delay in the delivery of tickets. Please check that you have received your tickets.

No complaints shall be accepted after the date of the performance.

Bookings made less than eight days before the date of the performance

Tickets MAY ONLY BE COLLECTED IN PERSON on the day of the chosen performance, from the Control desk (2nd foyer) of the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, 30 minutes before the performance.

TICKET CONDITIONS OF USE

Tickets may not be returned, refunded (even in the event of loss or theft), exchanged or resold. Unless specifically authorised by the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, any sale, resale or exchange of tickets is strictly prohibited under pain of sanctions set out in the French Criminal Code (Law of 27 June 1919). 

Duplicate tickets: no duplicate tickets will be issued unless specifically authorised by the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, restricted to tickets for specific seat numbers issued in the name of the buyer. If so, the duplicate tickets can be collected from the Control desk (2nd foyer) of the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées 30 minutes before the performance.

CONDITIONS OF ADMISSION TO THE AUDITORIUM OF THE THEATRE DES CHAMPS-ELYSEES

Only theatregoers with a valid event ticket will be admitted to the auditorium.

  • Each ticket entitles the holder to one seat.
  • The auditorium doors will be closed when the curtain goes up.
  • Latecomers will be admitted to the auditorium only during the interval, if there is one.
  • It is forbidden to take photographs, film or record all or part of the event.
  • It is forbidden to eat and/or drink in the auditorium.
  • Children under the age of six are not permitted to enter the auditorium except for events specifically designed for children.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATION

The Théâtre des Champs-Elysées reserves the right to change programmes and casts during the season. 

If an event is cancelled, the cost of the ticket will be refunded, at the ticket holder's request, on receipt of the ticket(s) for the cancelled performance up to one year from the performance. The ticket holder may also be offered the choice of transferring the ticket to another event for the same cost or a higher cost than the cancelled ticket.

If the event has to be interrupted over halfway through, the ticket will not be refunded.

For tickets to events not produced by the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, the Terms and Conditions of Sales of the Théâtre des Champs-Elysée shall apply.
