Holding the position of principal flute of the Berlin Philharmonic since he was twenty-two years old, invited by the greatest international orchestras and an accomplished chamber musician, Emmanuel Pahud has established himself as one of the most celebrated flutists of his generation. He will be joined for this concert by his musical colleagues from Les Vents Français, joined by the oboe soloist of the Orchestre de chambre de Paris, Ilyes Boufadden-Adloff. The programme of festivities includes Franz Danzi, at the juncture of classicism and romanticism, and of course Mozart, whose Flute has not finished enchanting flutists... and their audiences.
