Opera arias from Cavalli, Handel, Boretti, Conti, Hasse

His youth (not yet thirty years old), cherubic features and talent for breakdancing, mean that we could easily overlook his warm timbre which has earned him a place in the major league of Early Music performers, notably in repertoire by Handel. A graduate of Fryderyk Chopin University, Warsaw, he perfected his skills at the Juilliard School in New York before thrilling music lovers in Aix-en-Provence with Cavalli in the summer of 2017. His video on the France Musique website also created a buzz and he recorded his first recital, Anima sacra, on the Warner label. He is a thoroughly modern performer who brings seriousness and verve to the Early Music repertoire. In February, he offered us a few little-known gems from his album recorded with another young prodigy from Eastern Europe, Maxim Emelyanychev, at the helm of his Il Pomo d’Oro ensemble, with whom he is reunited for his first major recital on avenue Montaigne.
