    Africa Lyric’s Opera is back at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées for a special new charity event to raise funds for young opera singers from all backgrounds, the construction of a conservatoire in Cameroon, and training in the high-tech sector for women in Africa, a flagship Women of Africa programme. Voices from Africa, the United States and France will come together this evening for a thrilling and socially-committed programme of classics from the opera, and traditional and sacred song, and a preview of excerpts from a new historical opera by Africa Lyric’s Opera. An evening of singing, sharing, and solidarity.
