    Yundi  piano

    Yundi - DR

Chinese piano stars Si Lang Lang and Yuja Wang have already performed at the Théâtre, and Yundi’s debut will be a hugely popular event. Yundi (formerly known as Yundi Li), is an exact contemporary of Lang Lang (also born in 1982) and is an iconic figure in his homeland. He also has a large following in the West since becoming the first Asian pianist to win First Prize in the prestigious Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw in 2000. Since then, the Polish pianist has had pride of place in Yundi’s programmes, much to our delight.
