Terms and Conditions of sales
The purpose of these Terms and Conditions of Sale is to define the conditions under which the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées sells tickets for shows offered by the Theatre and sells products marketed in the Theatre's shop.
Any order or purchase implies the full and complete acceptance by the spectator of these Terms and Conditions of Sale, in the version in force on the day of purchase.
Tickets for performances
I - Booking conditions and fees
Tickets are sold exclusively through the Theatre's official channels:
- Online at theatrechampselysees.fr
- By phone
- At the Theater box office
- By post
In accordance with the French Consumer Code, tickets cannot be returned or exchanged. The right of withdrawal does not apply to the distance purchase of tickets for shows, in accordance with articles L. 121-17 and L. 121-18 of the French Consumer Code. All purchases are firm and final.

Bookings for the general public online and by telephone
- A processing fee of €2 is applied to the price of each ticket.
- Free for subscribers and holders of the Liberté Solo, Duo, Tribu and Jeunes cards.
- Print e-tickets via the My Account section throughout the season, or download to your smartphone
Subscription
- Performances can be exchanged up to twice a season.
- A processing fee of €8 is applied to the total of each subscription

BY PHONE by calling +33 (0)1 49 52 50 50, Monday to Friday, 12pm to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm (except on public holidays) and Saturday from 2pm to 6pm
- A processing fee of €2 is applied to the price of each ticket.
- For bookings of more than 5 places, the fee is €10 .

Any booking not paid within 72 hours will be cancelled.

Listening seats – without visibility – are on sale exclusively at the box office 1 hour before the performance.
II - Ticket delivery and collection conditions
Bookings made more than 8 days before the performance date
The viewer can choose to:
- Print e-tickets via the My Account section throughout the season.
- Download them to your smartphone.
- Choose delivery to the address provided when making the booking.
For bookings made from abroad, we recommend that you print out your e-ticket or pick it up on the day of your chosen performance, at the ticket office in the main hall of the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, 1 hour before the performance.
Tickets are sent by post in a pre-stamped Lettre Verte envelope. Any change of postal address must be reported to the Public Relations Department.
The Théâtre des Champs-Élysées cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen or delayed tickets. It is up to you to check that you have received your tickets. No claims will be accepted after the performance date.
Bookings made within 8 days of the performance date
Tickets can be either be :
- Printed via the My Account section.
- Downloaded to a smartphone.
- Collected on the day of the chosen performance, at the control desk in the main hall of the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées 1 hour before the performance.
III - Conditions of use of tickets
Each ticket is valid for a single person, a single performance and a single seat.
Tickets cannot be taken back, refunded (particularly in the event of loss or theft), exchanged or resold – except on the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées' official e-ticket exchange on the website.
Any ticket that has been falsified, reproduced or already used will be considered null and void.
No duplicate tickets will be issued without first contacting the Public Relations Department and obtaining its agreement, and only for sales placed and identified by name. In this case, please collect your tickets from the ticket office in the main foyer of the Theatre 1 hour before the performance. This operation invalidates the original ticket.
IV - Ticket resale and e-ticket exchange
Any resale of tickets at a price higher than their face value is strictly forbidden. The official e-ticket exchange enables spectators to re-sell their e-tickets purchased on the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées' official website, up to the original purchase price, in accordance with the conditions specified on the Theatre's website.
The Theatre acts exclusively as a technical operator and intermediary between spectators. It is not a party to the resale contract and does not guarantee the actual resale of tickets. A ticket may only be offered for sale once. In the event of effective resale, the original ticket is deactivated; a new e-ticket is issued to the end-buyer.
V - Fraudulent resale
In accordance with article 313-6-2 of the French Penal Code, the resale of tickets by another unauthorized service provider or reseller is illegal and constitutes fraud. Buyers are expressly advised to exercise the utmost vigilance and not to acquire tickets from unauthorized sales channels. If you have any doubts about the validity or authenticity of a ticket, we strongly advise you to contact the Theatre's Public Relations Department on +33 (0)1 49 52 50 50 or by e-mail at rp@theatrechampselysees.fr. The Théâtre des Champs-Élysées accepts no responsibility for tickets purchased from unauthorized resellers or platforms.
Any claim relating to a ticket acquired through an unauthorized reseller must be addressed directly to the seller concerned.
VI - Conditions for admission to the auditorium
Access to the auditorium is only possible on presentation of a valid show ticket. Each ticket entitles the holder to one seat only.
Last-minute substitutions are not permitted. Each spectator is responsible for respecting the seating position chosen at the time of booking, as well as the instructions given by reception staff.
Six spaces are reserved for spectators with reduced mobility.
The auditorium doors are closed as soon as the performance begins. Latecomers can only be placed in the auditorium and in the seat indicated on the ticket at intermission, when it takes place.
It is forbidden to consume food and / or drinks in the auditorium.
Children under 3 years of age are not allowed in the auditorium.
VII - Security, prefectoral decrees and the Vigipirate anti-terrorist security plan
Suitcases, travel bags, instrument cases and electric batteries for bicycles and scooters are not allowed inside the Theatre.
The Theatre must comply with current prefectoral decrees and general security measures applicable under the Vigipirate anti-terrorist security plan plan. Increased security may be provided during performances. These checks may include visual inspection of bags and personal effects, passage through a walk-through detector or the use of hand-held detectors.
Access to the Theatre may be refused to any person refusing to undergo security checks or failing to comply with current regulations. To ensure optimum reception conditions and avoid delays due to inspection, spectators are asked to arrive early at the Theatre.
VIII - Intellectual property and respect for works and artists
It is forbidden to photograph, film, record or broadcast, by any means whatsoever, all or part of the show, unless expressly authorized by the Theatre. The shows, works, performances, sets, costumes, staging and visual elements presented at the Theatre are protectedby intellectual property law.
IX - Modification and cancellation
The Théâtre des Champs-Élysées reserves the right to modify programs, artists and casting during the season. In the event of cancellation of a show, the value of the ticket paid for will be the subject of a credit note available in the My Account section. On request, a refund by bank transfer will be made within one year of the performance date. If the show has to be interrupted for more than half its duration, the ticket will not be refunded.
Theater shop
These terms and conditions of sale apply only to products sold by the Theatre. Products offered by third-party sellers are subject to their own terms and conditions.
I - Price and payment
Prices are given in euros, all taxes included. Payment is due immediately upon purchase. Payment methods accepted are specified at the point of sale.
II - Right of withdrawal
No right of withdrawal applies to sales concluded in a physical boutique
III - Exchange and refund policy
No exchange or refund is possible for products sold in the Theatre's boutique, except in the case of the implementation of legal guarantees*.
*Legal guarantees: Products are covered by legal warranties of conformity and against hidden defects, in accordance with the law.

For all tickets for shows not produced by the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, the General Terms and Conditions of Sale of the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées apply.
