We last saw him performing his hugely successful Puccini love duets with Aleksandra Kurzak. This singer, whose curiosity extends to all forms of repertoire, comes to life as a performer in the operetta genre or popular music, and here he has devised a delightful evening of surprises with composer, arranger and conductor Yvan Cassar with whom he has previously worked on a Sicilian album and Neapolitan melodies. They invite us to stray from the well-worn path of traditional opera in which they have excelled for almost thirty years. Take a gamble on this new surprise venture for an evening commensurate with their talent.
