Bach  French Suite No. 5 BWV 816
    Chopin  Impromptu No. 1 Op. 29, Impromptu No.2 Op. 36, Impromptu No. 3 Op. 51, Fantaisie-Impromptu Op. 66
    Debussy  Estampes
Rachmaninov  Six Moments musicaux Op. 16

The deeply moving relationship between this extraordinary Japanese pianist who has been blind since birth and Parisian audiences is now well established. For his new concert, Nobuyuki Tsujii is pursuing his exploration of Chopin’s repertoire with the complete Impromptus and his tribute to French music with Estampes by Debussy. These will be bookended with two forays into new repertoire: Bach and Rachmaninov. As ever, this will be an emotionally-charged event.
