Severe bad weather in the south of France prevented rehearsals and the concert in Six-Fours, jeopardising the rest of the tour. However, Freddie De Tommaso was keen to maintain his appearance in Paris for the first time, accompanied by pianist Jonathan Papp.

With his powerful voice and warm timbre, he effortlessly captures the essence of verismo, which demands both technical skill and emotional expression. His studies at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music in London and his appearances on international stages have shaped this young talent into a particularly promising artist. He has swiftly made a name for himself, notably by winning the prestigious Plácido Domingo prize in the Operalia World Opera Competition in 2021, which was the catalyst for worldwide recognition.
