Cirque Le Roux

Entre chiens et louves draws us into an epic journey through time, revealing the private lives of three characters living in different eras: 1850, 1960 and the present day. By retracing their paths, the work offers a sensitive journey through those shared memories that make us who we are, shaped by rebellions, the impulse to be free, and the cracks still running through us today. As a heartfelt insight into the human condition, the show depicts a world full of hope and bodies in motion, and turns the spotlight on people relegated to the shadows of history who crave rediscovery. In the manner of a film with a series of tableaux, eight virtuosos performers draw us into an epic adventure with a blend of acting, acrobatics and dance. Alexandra Stréliski’s score accompanies the story unfolding onstage like a living heartbeat. Her sensitive cinematographic writing creates an organic bond between bodies, eras and feelings, lending an intimate contemporary depth to the show and amplifying the idea of a human and community-focused society with great emotional intensity.
