About
Since his First Prize at the Tchaikovsky Piano Competition in 2015, the Russian pianist’s small number of appearances thus far in France have been met with unanimous praise and support. This was the case with the extraordinary Concerto No 1 by Tchaikovsky with the Orchestre national de France in 2020 and his early recitals at La Roque-d’Anthéron, at the Paris Philharmonie, and here at the Théâtre. This season, he has set himself the challenge of playing the complete Rachmaninoff across three recitals. For this third performance, we will hear the Symphonic Dances transcribed for piano by the author himself.
