About

In a faraway kingdom, it is always night as day has disappeared for reasons nobody can explain. Ever since Sacha was very young, it has been his dream to see the sun again. Armed only with the violin entrusted to him by his grandfather, the young boy eventually sets out into the world. Will his quest to restore daylight succeed? The Magic Violin is a musical tale about the power of dreams and music written and narrated by Élodie Fondacci, the iconic Radio Classique storyteller. The Sirba Octet and Élodie Fondacci had already shared the stage in performances of The Carnival of the Animals and were keen to work together again. The dreamlike world of Élodie Fondacci and the unique Sirba Octet come together again in The Magic Violin, which has been specially created for family audiences.
