About
Thibaut Garcia is one of the new prodigies of the guitar, a BBC "New Generation Artist", a "Révélation" of the Victoires de la Musique. Here he pays homage to his Iberian roots, with the young Spanish conductor Antonio Méndez. However, it was not in Spain but in Paris that Joaquín Rodrigo wrote, in 1939, the famous Concierto de Aranjuez, an evocation of the royal gardens that became part of the classical guitar repertoire with the well-known success. Another force of nature, Beethoven, will extend this evening with the almighty "Pastoral", an explosive evocation of nature in its many transformations.
