For more than two hundred years, the Caisse des Dépôts has been supporting the country's major developments for the benefit of the greatest number of people everywhere. It works to ensure that the development of our country is sustainable, supportive and responsible.
Because reducing territorial and social inequalities is its fundamental mission, the Caisse des Dépôts deploys a sponsorship policy that contributes to the emergence of young talent in classical music and dance on the one hand and architecture and landscape on the other. The first part of our sponsorship policy echoes our role as owner of the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, the Mecca of classical music and dance in France and in the world. The second part resonates with our role as processor and developer of territories.
Sponsoring classical music
As an extension of its support for the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées programming, the Caisse des Dépôts has been developing a musical patronage policy for more than 30 years, the objective of which is to promote classical and contemporary music in France.
Musical patronage dedicates its support to projects that facilitate the discovery, professional insertion and promotion of young singers and professional instrumentalists or at the end of training. Caisse des Dépôts thus supports young talents, future actors in the development of the artistic and cultural life of all territories. This support is divided into two areas:
- support for structures that detect, train and disseminate young talent
- support for young musical ensembles, which develop their activity.

In order to allow the emergence of young talents, the Caisse des Dépôts finances detection and training structures for instrumentalists and professional singers, or at the end of training. These may include academies, competitions, job placement schemes, etc.
As a continuation of this support for detection and training structures, Caisse des Dépôts also encourages the distribution structures of musicians and singers of tomorrow.
