    Bring a class to the Opera

    Allow students from priority education classes to discover the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées and the opera!
    For the past six years, the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées has been introducing children to the world of opera through participatory operas for young audiences.

    Your support allows us to welcome more than 800 students from the Priority Education Zones and offer them tailor-made singing workshops.
    This season the young audiences will have the chance to discover Une Petite Flûte from Mozart

    Une Petite Flute – audio described opera for young audiences

    Accompany the audio description device for young people who are visually impaired or blind.
    Thanks to the audio description system, the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées enables many blinds and visually impaired children and teenagers to discover the world of live performance, on the occasion of participatory operas for young audiences. Two audio descriptions are planned for school performances.

    This season, young blind and visually impaired children and teenagers will be able to discover Une Petite Flute, adapted in French from Mozart, thanks to headphones made available to them during the performances. An accompanying program is set up before the performance.

    Support the creation of sign language adaptation for deaf children.
    Opera in Sign Language? Yes, it is possible.

    For the first time at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, two interpreter-translators present from the stage, a version intended for people who are hard of hearing or deaf. The songs are adapted in French sign language which allows everyone to sing with the artists and the whole audience.

    Welcome psychologically fragile children

    Offer specific support for young people with mental disabilities.
    Autistic or mentally handicapped children and teenagers also have their place in the Théâtre des Champs auditorium. Their sensitivity makes them very receptive to music, used as a therapeutic tool.

    On the occasion of the creation of Une Petite Flute the Theatre continues to integrate these young people into its policy of openness, in a climate of listening and respect. In collaboration with the Institut Medico Educatif (IMS), the Externat Medico Pédagogique (EMP) or in the day hospital, a specific follow-up is developed to help these young people open up to music and performance.
